i’m marcus emel, and this is GRIT—a collection i wrote in the middle of one of the hardest, most honest seasons of my life.
some days, it felt like all i had left was what didn’t break me. that’s what this book is—what was left.
grit isn’t polished. it’s not perfect. it’s me—raw, jagged, true.
